Members of Academic Department

There are three Associate Professor, nine Lecturer, two Assistant Lecturer and one Tutor in Academic Department.

Objectives

Myanmar Traditional culture; To better understand and preserve literary culture and to develop good people who are polite and kind-hearted.

To use English language fluently and to know the usage of grammer. Engineering students should study four skills. If students are skill full these skills, they will be easy and convenient for their careers.

To teach “Differentiation and Integration”, “Multivariable calculus”, as well as that of fundamental mathematical objects introduced in our core courses as sets, functions, equations, vectors, matrices, and groups.

Engineering Science ( Physics and chemistry) is the basic of engineering subject. Engineering Science support with engineering subject.

Outcomes

Due to the inclusion of Myanmar language, various ethnic groups can learn Burmese language and writing. They can understand how to use office Myanmar language and be able to live and work comfortably in the workplace.

The students will be able to fluently read engineering books and knowing about the engineering terms-understand and apply knowledge of four skills.

The students will be able to apply knowledge of mathematics analyze and solve the engineering problems.

The students will be able to

  • develop the ability to effectively communicate scientific information
  • understand about engineering fundamentals and  engineering specialization respectively to wide practical procedures and practise.

Assessment

  1. Tutotial and Class work — 20%
  2. Examination (Theory ) — 80%
  3. Practical Work  — 40%
  4. Examination (Theory )  — 60%

Tutorial and Class work

Use knowledge of content and mathematical procedures to solve problems and make connections between the different areas of mathematics.
Practical Work
Learners must successfully complete a series of partical exercises throughout the course. The assessor will gather a collection of work that demonstrates evidence of a range of techniques.

Examination (Theory )

Learners must pass theoretical exams at the end of each semester.
